My first baby was very easy to settle and comfort  -  enter baby number 2  -  reflux, colic, clingy and only settling when held and rocked.    I didn’t get much done at all in the first few months.  Let alone have time for quality time for my then 16 month old daughter.  I had a front-carrying “pouch” that was bulky and awkward to put on and I desperately needed something to help me get on with life!  I wasn’t prepared to pay over $85 for other similar ones on the market so I made my own and lucky for me Bradley just loved it!  I could shop, push the pram, breastfeed, play, walk-all with baby attached!  I had my life back! 

 

I made some as gifts for friends having first and second babies and they loved the ease of use and the closeness of having bubs right there to settle, feed and sleep.  I still have my favorite and Bradley is now 3 years old.

 

I love the fact that I can make these slings when the kids are asleep or busy playing (ok, yes they watch tv too) without interrupting our family time.
